Testimonials

I have been a patient of Dr. Ashraf for many years. He is highly skilled, always very professional, caring and friendly. I had been wearing a denture for over 35 years when I became Dr. Ashraf’s patient, and he was the only dentist to suggest that I replace the denture with a fixed bridge. I have been delighted with the bridge ever since he put it in place, which was about 15 years ago, and I have not had any problems with it during that time. Dr. Ashraf has also provided me with many other dental services over the years, such as root canals and crowns. I know he also provides his patients with implants. He is a very versatile and talented dental surgeon, and I recommend him without reservation.

“I have been going to Dr. Ashraf for more than 15 years. Over those years, I have found Dr. Ashraf to be a most competent dental professional who really enjoys what he does. This powerful combination of outstanding competence and sincere interest in both his work and the well-being of his patients, makes for a comforting dental experience, vice after visit.

I have also learned that Dr. Ashraf enjoys keeping the current with the latest i n dental technology and emerging dental “best practices.” As a result, his professional capabilities continue to expand. This is comforting to me becuase I know that I am receiving the best and most up-to-date professional care available.

Also, I must add that Dr. Ashraf’s entire staff are most competent considerate and caring. They make me feel comfortable. All said, if you desire the very best in dental care, give Dr. Ashraf a try. You will be absolutely delighted!”

Sincerely, Lou

“My wife and I have been patients of Dr. K. Ashraf for over 6 years. Our dental care had been exceptionally poor. He restored our teeth to the highest possible standards. In a world of many questionable practices, directions and exploitive systems Dr, K Ashraf stands out as a reasonable person, a man who cares and performs, in particular: Human contact: empathetic professionalism:___ precision: excellent organization, hygiene, superior staff selection, the best available, personal reserve: could not be better, facility and equipment: excellent costs of professional services: reasonable, our experience as patients, very good.

My wife and I are impressed and grateful. My wife says regarding Dr. Ashraf “I come to him as a somewhat troubled patient, and left as a friend. We are pleased to say that we have very high regards for Dr. K Ashraf and his work. ”

“Having had a denture since the age of 12, and having experienced all of the problems that dentures present, I decided to have implants and a permanent denture in 2009. My expectation was that this would be the end of all my problems and for 3 years it was. In 2012 this denture broke as did one of the abutments. This was replaced at a cost and with no as to why it occurred. All was well until almost three years to the day later when again there was broken denture. Again it could be fixed but at a considerable cost. I did ask at this time if there could be a design flaw and was told “no.” I was very frustrated and not prepared to spend more money for the same solution. My daughter urged me to seek a consultation with Dr.Ashraf and I never looked back.

At my first appointment Dr. Ashraf listened attentively to my history and problems followed by examinations and a CT scan. This was followed by a discussion about possible reasons for the breakage and possible solutions. The plan was that Dr. Ashraf would develop a plan of care including costs for the next week. I left the office feeling confident that I had made the right decision. Once the plan was reviewed with my husband and I the process began.

During my many visits throughout the process, I found Dr. Ashraf to be a kind, caring, highly skilled and experienced professional. From the outset he inspired confidence and trust. As a result of Dr. Ashraf knowledge and skills, I now have an improved bite, total comfort and according to my elderly mother, my smile is back. I am very grateful to him and his staff for their high standards of care. I would certainly recommend Dr. Ashraf to anyone needing quality dental care.”

Welcome Back

Life has been anything but normal this spring and we sincerely hope you and your family are in good health. We are happy to inform you that we are now able to once again provide dental care for you and your family. The Ministry of Health has lifted the restrictions placed back in March. While many things have changed since then, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety. Our office has always followed strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future, we have updated our protocols. When we see you at your next appointment, things will be a little different.

• We will ask some screening questions before your appointment and you’ll be asked those same questions again when you’re in the office.

• You may be asked to wait outside our office or in your car and call us when you arrive and then wait for a call back to let you know when you can enter the office.

• We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the clinic. There are more dispensers around the office for you to use as needed. As well, you will be provided some gloves to wear. We recommend that you bring your own mask to wear prior to entering the clinic.

• Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines or children’s toys since those items are difficult to fully disinfect.

• Appointments will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing between patients. That might mean less flexibility for scheduling your appointment, but it will also reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

• You may be surprised that we’re wearing more protective gear – such as masks, face shields, gowns – than we normally do during your visit.

Rest assured, all these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients and our team. We have undergone some renovations during this time. All operatory suites have been fully enclosed with glass windows and doors. This will ensure that all aerosols will be contained in the operatory. Prior to COVID-19, we had already installed Hepa filtration systems in all operatories and waiting areas. These systems are from Surgically Clean Air.

We look forward to seeing you again. If you have any questions, please let us know. To make an appointment, call our office at 519-725-9585 or email us at info@ashrafdentistry.ca.

Thank you for patience and loyalty throughout this ordeal. We value your trust and look forward to welcoming you back!

Sincerely,

Dr K Ashraf and the whole Dental Team.
